EuroNanoForum 2019, an event of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, aimed to bring together scientists, industrialists and policy makers frome the area of Nanotechnology.
EMMC was represented by Natalia Konchakova, Pietro Asinari, Davide di Stephano, Nadja Adamovich, Arpit Singhal and Alexandra Simperler who gave talks and contributed to discussions.
The EMMC is organising a training workshop on EMMO – European Materials & Modelling Ontology – on Friday, June 7, 2019 at the EC Covent Garden location (Place Rogier).

EMMC announces the start of the VIMMP webinar series, starting with the ontology work in the European project VIMMP – Virtual Materials Marketplace.
The semantic assets from VIMMP are developed in close coordination with the EMMC-CSA and MarketPlace projects and are intended to be of use to the EMMC and materials modelling community as a whole.
Semantic assets can facilitate the integration of diverse data and software components into a coherent framework, permitting different approaches and solutions to become interoperable. Ontologies are semantic assets that characterize objects (entities) and the possible relations between them. Read more …
